PETITION: Protect location privacy

If you use a smartphone, companies can collect information about your location.

That means companies can track where you go to work or where you drop your kids off at school -- your every movement, in fact. And these companies can share that information with third parties.

The least they can do is get your permission first.

That’s why Al is fighting to require companies to get your permission before they collect or share information about your location -- and stop companies from making money by helping abusers stalk their victims.

It’s about privacy -- and about safety. And it’s about time we took action.
